Q: "That's a great photograph, how much to buy it?"

A: "Tell me what rights you'd like to license."

Photographs are copyright the creator of those photographs (title 17, U.S. Code). Simply, images may not be used without written permission from Paul Antico. This written permission is called a license. Like a rental car, it is more affordable to rent the car (license the image(s) desired) for the uses you need rather than pay the much larger expense of a buying the entire car (copyright transfer).

Willfull infrigement is subject to up to $150,000 in statutory damages PLUS attorney's fees. All images are registered with the U.S. Copyright office of the Library of Congress.
